happn, the real-life dating app, is now offering its users a way to get to know each other. Based on geolocation and singles' favorite places to meet, the application now leverages its technology to enhance profile completion. happn introduces Teasers to its app, allowing singles to showcase their uniqueness. The new feature enriches singles' profiles with short previews of unexpected life moments. 

A well-filled profile is the key 

According to the latest happn survey, 70% of singles admit they prefer a well-filled profile with actual information to the ones filled with photos. To meet users' needs, happn has opted for a series of creative proposals that allow singles to present themselves in a new way and use humor to complete their profiles.

During the test phase, the feature was very popular on the app, and particularly appealed to Gen Z, well known for their self-mockery. Young singles have voted "I couldn't live without it..." as their favorite teaser. Gen Z is also the generation that has completed the feature the most (48% of them).

Singles find dating app profiles too boring 

The arrival of this new feature in the product is no coincidence: a real number of singles find that profile completion options could be interesting but are generally too classic or even cliché. happn, which uses its technology to enrich profiles and give a second chance to destiny, wanted to be able to offer its users new Teasers. 

Divided into 4 distinct categories (opinions, habits, places, experiences), more than fifty teasers are now available and completely free. For example, they can enter on their profile the actor who could play them in a biopic, the place they find the strangest for a date, or their remedy for melancholy.
