This evolution reflects the app's ongoing ambitions. This feature is tailored to reflect your lifestyle —highlighting favourite spots, neighbourhood preferences, and habits— while facilitating new connections. Termed as social dating, this approach offers a fresh remedy to dating burnout. The popularity of CrushPoints, evidenced by the addition of over 20 million locations to user profiles worldwide, underscores happn's appealing promise to singles. Through its strategic partnership with Foursquare, happn is expanding the CrushPoints feature, now incorporating over 20 million new locations to enhance user experience on a grand scale further.

This new partnership with a tech company like Foursquare aligns with happn's ambitions to enable users to add any location they love for meeting and dating, regardless of the city. The feature was gradually rolled out in France and Brazil, Argentina, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, the Netherlands, Denmark, India, Uruguay, Turkey, and cities like London, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco.
On happn, you can now add favourite places across six categories: Outdoors, Bars and Coffees, Restaurants, Culture, Clubs, and Sports. Locations play a crucial role in dating; according to 57% of respondents, knowing a Crush's favourite places can reveal much about their personality. The feature also enables users to search for Crushes by popular spots. This will likely resonate with most singles (61%) who prefer organizing their dates in trendy or unique locations.
